Michael Heiser — Alien Abduction: What's Really Going On?

  1. being an experiencer ,I must point out that if we can induce sleep paralysis that our interaction with emotional and spiritual influence would arouse those chemicals. They gave me night terrors after floating me out the window in a blue light. at 4yrs. old i rqan from every cartoon monster my mind could conjure, rather a subliminal memory state where I would begin to tell myself that i was not afraid turn to the mob chasing me and face them telling them the were not real then in this disassociative dream state a converse idea would try to make me think I could be wrong and so much would not reoccur on the atypical werewolf vampire and mummy if they were not real or of old. the vampire and mummy seemed easier arguments for me to dismiss but finally insisted taht they were not real like Jesus. this conversation seemed to have landscape direction as if an area to the left over the bed and in my mind leaving a lingering doubt that location in a true sense had not changed . but then there was a paralysis with what I now know as a grey over me injecting a small hard thing into my leg . though my parents had no mercy to even hear me out I knew that this part had been tangible I squeezed this thing out two days in a row but the third morning it was too deep and sickening .I had argued with this thing that it had no right to withhold me or inject me to which he told me I would not remember, to which I replied adding to determination to prove him a liar" oh huh, huh, huh! ther are forces that shift the state of conciuosness , dream states and awareness but what i could remind myself that had happened that was against my belief that i would fight to defend and believe could reject the foriegn arguments . at the time the monsters started being like all scooby doo episodes that I had to negate and the cartoon after scooby was about monsters that lived in a castle and drove a hot rod , the mummy from that cartoon had huge black eyes and this left me with the only familiarity i had as to what this thing was as it did not answer i came to think it was what would be under a mummy's wrapping. having since encountered the holy spirit I believe it a grave mistake to write off these filthy dream agents and not be on guard to lies that would come against our faith and the nature of the spirit beings we are at only 4 I know i was in a fight to be "awake" even in my sleep

Michael Heiser — What’s The Significance Of Elisha & The Bears (2 Kings 2:23–25)?

This is a complex issue that actually does have to do with cosmic geography and even more so, the denial of Elisha’s status as the prophet of Yahweh and as a solicitation to Elisha to play the role of an apostate priest, to join the apostate worship, to join the other gods, to be part of that system instead of Yahweh's system, to not be Yahweh’s prophet.  This is a theologically significant passage. That answer might sound strange to you but it is tied up in this cosmic geographical thinking and cosmic geographical language. Article Referenced: 1. Michael Heiser — Predestination & Foreknowledge

Predestination and foreknowledge aren’t the same. Foreknowledge does not necessitate predestination. In 1 Samuel 23:1–13 it’s clear, God foreknew a possible outcome that never actually happens—foreknowledge does not command that it’s predestined to happen. In other words, the means by which God works are His own—God can predestine things if He wants, but we cannot conclude that everything that happens was predestinated.  We cannot exist as God’s own image if everything is predestined (Genesis 1:27). Free will (what we choose) matters, although we may not know how it matters exactly—God is omniscient and God will use it—only God knows such things. If everything is predestined, we would have no free will and we would simply be robots. This is why God does not eliminate evil just yet. In doing so, God would have to eliminate all of humanity as well as everything else in the spiritual world having free will. God is omniscient and knows what the cost is going to be. He would rather ...
